Providing the tools you need to design and build your website. Whether you are an experienced hand coder or using one of the powerful CMS's that are on the market you will find something useful here.

Coders Junction Content Slider

This is the most comprehensive content slider I have designed to date. You can have a total of 20 slides with captions. The slider was written in PHP and is highly configurable and simple to setup and configure. You can add and remove individual slides on the fly by simply turning them on or off. To get started go to the img folder and add your images. Then open configure.php and start creating your slider.

Simply follow the instructions inside that file and you will have your slider ready to add to your website. And as with everything I create, the slider is fully responsive/fluid in design.

"Remake" Theming System

for RavenNuke CMS.

"Remake" is a highly configurable content based theming system for RavenNuke V2.5 (RN) "Remake" is not about the RN files I edited, that was a one-time thing just to make them compatible with "Remake". Now my attention can be directed at RN integration.

This is not RavenNuke Version 3 or Raven CMS. What it is though is a theming system designed to make your RavenNuke theme responsive. Along the way, I had to edit a lot of the RavenNuke V2.5 core files and modules to meet my goal. I had to make them HTML5, CSS3 compliant as well as responsive.

I have created something new that will have to grow and mature to be truly worthwhile. It is my hope that by releasing “Remake” to the public as BETA release candidate 1 that you will help me reach my final goal. And that is to have a fully integrated theming system for RavenNuke V2.5 or V3 or Raven CMS.

In the future files will change because nothing is ever released in a perfect form. It takes a lot of committed and dedicated people to make things better. I do hope that the finger-pointers and trolls will stay out of the mix. Please post and let me know what needs to change and if it is within the goals I am going to include below, I will work hard to make it happen.

    GOALS:
  • Full administration integration.
  • Able to access the themes and make changes on the fly.
  • Having the ability to add content to the theme.
  • Theme creation.

You can download "Remake" in the Community Downloads Area.

HTML and CSS
are the fundamental technologies for building Web pages: HTML (html and xhtml) for structure, CSS for style and layout, including WebFonts. Find resources for good Web page design as well as helpful tools.

What is WebFonts? -WebFonts is a technology that enables people to use fonts on demand over the Web without requiring installation in the operating system. W3C has experience in downloadable fonts through HTML, CSS2, and SVG. Until recently, downloadable fonts have not been common on the Web due to the lack of an interoperable font format. The WebFonts effort plans to address that through the creation of an industry-supported, open font format for the Web (called "WOFF").

What is XHTML?
-XHTML is a variant of HTML that uses the syntax of XML, the Extensible Markup Language. XHTML has all the same elements (for paragraphs, etc.) as the HTML variant, but the syntax is slightly different. Because XHTML is an XML application, you can use other XML tools with it (such as XSLT, a language for transforming XML content).

What is CSS?
-CSS is the language for describing the presentation of Web pages, including colors, layout, and fonts. It allows one to adapt the presentation to different types of devices, such as large screens, small screens, or printers. CSS is independent of HTML and can be used with any XML-based markup language. The separation of HTML from CSS makes it easier to maintain sites, share style sheets across pages, and tailor pages to different environments. This is referred to as the separation of structure (or: content) from presentation.
